What is a seeming? A seeming is something everyone has which seems real to the person who has it yet others would say it just seems that way but really is not at all that way. Seemings are developed as children and are carried into our adult lives without us really realizing it. Individually, we have many many seemings & we likely don't even know what they are.
I had this major one & I wanted to clear it or at least have it weaker that it was.
How to clear a seeming? Well, allot some time (you can do this with others or on your own), likely an hour or more. Grab some magazines & while really focus on your seeming, tear out images from the magazines without any thought into what you are tearing out. During this process you could feel different emotions about what you are doing or seeing or feeling. Once you feel you are done, stop. When that portion is complete, gather your images together & glue them on a poster board (I used foam core board) in a deliberate designed way. This is where your thinking comes into play. You can tear the edges, cut them, whatever. You need at least 3 images & you don't have to use all the images you tore out, just use the ones that work for you. Once it's all glued down, write the seeming on the back of the board. By the time you're done, the seeming will be either a distant memory or quite weak.
Mine is basically gone. It was quite a process & I really enjoyed doing it. Initially, I felt I wasn't in the right frame of mind & of course, wondered if I was doing it wrong! By the time I was done, the collage was quite fitting to my seeming in many many ways. I really like how the collage turned out so that's why I'm posting it. Basically, it's a work of art.
This is not the best image of this piece but I don't care. I used my S95 instead of my 7D.
What was this seeming? Ask me & I'll tell you. (;
