I retured back on Wednesday & was out Thursday night so I ended up doing a very quick sketch at a friend's house. This is her grandmother's water jug. It is beautiful although this drawing does not portray that. I think I should take a bit more time to do a quick layout before I go to town on the drawing. I suppose that's why I'm doing all of this; to sort out how to draw better & faster.
Last night I was out too & had no time during the day to draw. I was chatting on the phone when I saw this item I bought my father many many moons ago & really liked the colours. I decided this was my subject. It's cute! I want to do a closer dwg of this too to show more detail.
