it's cold in 'dem dar hills...

As mentioned, it was down right COLD out last week. The final day of the cold snap it was to warm up more than 10˚C. When I took these shots, it was easily still -25˚C with a wind! It was early enough to get the sun in the shot at a low angle. Always fun to get the star effect for the sun!
This was taken near Edworthy Park NW off Memorial Drive. Love the 'mist' off the river - shows how cold it really was. I wanted to take these earlier but by the time I could get my camera, it was too late in the day sadly.



This is taken from Crescent Heights in Calgary. My hands were freezing!



The top photo is darker than it actually was outside. I still like the effect of the lighting.
