chick study

Yesterday was Easter Sunday and since I still own the little fluffy chick, I decided to use water colour to paint it instead of sorting out how to draw something fluffy. I have drawn the chick before back in 2011 when Easter was even later in April.

I started with two chicks then added more as I played with the water colour paints. I was using a round brush then for the last chick (bottom left), I used a flat brush instead and basically scribbled with it to get the base yellow and shades of darker yellow. And in the end, it is the one I like the best.
